Minerva Butter

One of our Buying Clubs all time favorite products is the Amish Style Minerva Butter. This old fashioned churned butter comes in two pound rolls and is a great table butter. It’s deep golden yellow color complements it’s rich creamy flavor. This butter is well salted, which brings out it’s outstanding richness.

Our order last month saw three cases come in and still some members got left out of the splitting of this fantastic butter due to miscommunication. The one downfall of this marvelous product is United does not list it as an item we can split in their system. Up until now our members have tried to split these case with a few members putting whole cases on their personal orders and trying to remember who was going to buy the rest of the butter from them.

At over $50 a case, that can seem daunting to members new and well seasoned. For this reason we are now instituting a new “Minerva Butter” policy. All members who want less than a whole case of Minerva butter should send a message to the Coordinator on the Message Board with how many ROLLS of butter you would like along with what month you are ordering in. Your message should look something like this:

Your Name. 3 rolls for December.

We will tally all the rolls wanted and order the cases of butter on the Jax Natural Foods account. A list will be made up with the names and how many rolls for each member who ordered as a master list so no one gets left out of the butter order.

Hopefully this will solve a few issues we have had in the past with people either not getting their butter or getting stuck with too much butter.
